We would like to inform you that the clearing of the vessel backlog at the Suez Canal is progressing well. We have seen 43 vessels from the total queue passing the canal on Monday 29th March, with a further 66 vessel on Tuesday, we expect full operation to be in place by middle of this week.
We are closely monitoring how the ocean carriers plan on adjusting their networks / rotations in order to avoid port congestions, and most importantly in an effort to get sailings back to schedule.
Unfortunately, delays are inevitable in the coming weeks, potentially months, due directly to the Suez Canal issue, which will have significant impact on equipment shortages, and scheduling.
Therefore, please prioritise your most urgent/critical cargo to be shipped first. Our customer service teams will do everything in their power to support this.
